Teen Patti is a traditional Indian casino game, also known as Indian Flush, played with a standard deck of cards.
The primary objective of this game is to form the highest-ranking combination among players using only three cards.
The aim is to maximize the pot or prize pool to achieve the greatest winnings.
TEEN PATTI – HOW TO PLAY?
The game begins with all players contributing an initial bet into the “Boot” or prize pot.
Once all players have placed their initial bets, the dealer deals three cards to each player, one at a time, face down.
Players have the option to play as “Seen” or “Blind.” If playing as “Seen,” they can view their own cards, while playing “Blind” means the cards remain face down and hidden.
If a player starts as “Blind,” they can choose to reveal their cards in a later round and continue playing as a “Seen” player.
The game continues until only one player remains at the table or until two players are left, and one of them decides to reveal their cards for a show. If you are the sole player remaining, you win.
During the show, the cards are compared, and the winning hand is determined by the highest-ranking combination. In the event of a tie, the player who called for the show loses.
TEEN PATTI – RULES TO KNOW:
The minimum bet in Teen Patti depends on the agreed minimum stake before the game starts.
In a game of Teen Patti, after the three cards are dealt face down, players have the option to play as “Seen” or as a “Blind” player.
“Seen” refers to players who choose to view their cards, while “Blind” players do not look at their cards and keep them face down on the table.
If a player starts as “Blind,” they can switch to “Seen” during the different rounds of the game by choosing to view their cards at any time.
When playing as “Blind,” the player must bet at least the minimum stake. If playing as “Seen,” the player must bet twice the minimum stake amount.
Players are required to place their bets until the following events occur:
Scenario 1: All players except one have folded, resulting in the last remaining player winning the round.
Scenario 2: Only two players remain. In this case, one player must call for a show and reveal both cards in their hand.
Several rules should be noted when playing Teen Patti. Some of these rules include:
A show can only occur when there are only two players left at the table.
During a show, both players reveal their cards, and the player with the highest-ranking combination wins the round. In the case of a tie, the player who called for the show loses.
When it’s your turn, you can ask the player who bet before you for a “Sideshow.” The player can accept or reject the request without any additional consequences to the overall game.
If a sideshow request is accepted, both players compare their cards, and the player with the lower-ranked combination must fold their cards immediately. The player with the higher-ranking combination continues playing the game.
If the card values are equal during a sideshow, the player who initiated the sideshow must fold their cards immediately.

The card combinations are ranked in descending order as follows:
Trail or Trio: Three cards of the same rank or value, with the highest-ranking combination being three aces.
Straight Flush: Three cards in sequence within the same suit, such as 10, Jack, Queen of Spades or 4, 5, 6 of Diamonds.
Sequence or Straight: Three cards in any suit but in sequence, such as Jack, Queen, King in any suit or 5, 6, 7 in any suit.
Color or Flush: Three cards of the same suit but not in sequence, for example, Ace, Jack, King in Hearts or 2, 5, 9 in Clubs.
Pair or Two of a Kind: Two cards of the same rank and value, with one additional card. For example, 8, 8, Ace or 4, 4, 9.
High Card: When no cards form a sequence or share the same suit, the value of the highest-ranking card determines the winner. In case of a tie, the higher-ranked card determines the winner.
